Dear visitors,  By virtue of the Commandment No. СОА20-РД09-1458 / 09.03.2020 of  the Mayor of Sofia Municipality, all sites of the Regional History Museum - Sofia are closed temporarily for visits and events.

REGIONAL HISTORY MUSEUM-SOFIA announces free entrance on 3rd of March 2020. It is an anniversary of 142 years since the Liberation of Bulgaria.

Regional History Museum – Sofia is located in one of the most beautiful and emblematic buildings of the capital city – the former Central Mineral Bathhouse, built in 1912. It is known among the residents of the city as the “Museum of Sofia”.

REGIONAL HISTORY MUSEUM SOFIA promotes the “Sofia Municipality (1918-1944) – Years of Difficulties and Constructive Activity” exhibition. The event is dedicated to the 140^th anniversary of announcement of Sofia as the capital of Bulgaria.
